MEET PONCH, THE LABRADOR

Someday, we want some land, a cozy house, a workshop for my metal work and her wood work. And dogs. Several dogs to rescue and to love and to enrich our lives. But sometimes, the Army life isn’t easy. We move every few years. It’s hard to put down roots. Sometimes, you don’t get housing that works well for your family – or that works well for pets.

But as my wife once said – we’ll never get to the end unless we start.

So we started with Ponch, a chocolate Labrador Retriever. Ponch, as in Officer Poncherello. And once you have Ponch, you have to complete the duo. Someday, we’ll get another pup and name it John.

That’s a promise.

Ponch is the first step towards turning our ideas into reality. She reminds us to keep working on our dreams. And so from there, PonchWerks was born.

Maybe it’s a little silly. Ponch is a little silly herself. She is a crazy pup, full of mischief and love.
